So I came across the taking back the nerd girl meme thing, and I'd never seen it floating around son I googled it and came across one them saying something about pronouncing meme 'mee-mee'  and Inwanted to punch someone. I thought for a while that it was pronounced kind of like may-meh, the same way I have misprounced countless words that I've only read. I get mixed up regularly on lead and lead and if reading aloud, nearly alway almost say phone like the ph doesn't make an f.
And then there was a thing about buying comics from Barnes and Noble, and I was just like wow she's actually lucky she can buy them at because If I want to read comics I either shell out a fiver a pop or travel for two/three hors on a bus. I can't afford either of these options, as a result I get like a single volume a year or stuff from the library's extremely limited stock to tide me over.
I buy comic t-shirts for the same reason I bought my my little pony shirt, my ninja turtles shirt, and my scooby doo shirt(most of these came from men's sections) because I watch the films and cartoons all the time and love them.
I can't play video games. I don't pretend I can. I like to watch other people play video games. I find it way more entertaining than I should.

I get a lot of shit for watching dubbed anime from my friends. They good about most thing, but don't understand that I like being able to look up and see who came into the room without losing track of what just happened if they ask me a question.

I'm just really annoyed right now.

*hugs* I prefer dubbed anime, I like to see what's happening with voices I can understand, because I haven't mastered subtitle reading while watching.

I thought it was mee-mee, but just because I read things simply, I literally read it as "me, me". I've heard it pronounced both ways, which doesn't help at all.

People who make these discriminations against people feel they have to make themselves more secure in their dedication to the subject, rather than helping people who are new to it and pointing them in the right direction.

I feel you'd get annoyed at me playing video games, I tend to swear and abuse the game, the characters, and the console repeatedly and violently. XD
